We are addressing a number of issues experienced by state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
The National State Enterprises Bill has been finalised for submission to Parliament. The Bill and its regulations will codify the appointment process of SOE Boards so that principles and processes become legally binding and that sanctions for non-compliance are put in place.
We are also dealing decisively with the effects of state capture within SOEs.
