I always thought that gender-based violence was for other people - I have judged men for being violent and I have judged women for believing that they must have done something to cause that violence in .Just because I have never raised my hand to a woman - except once I grabbed my wife by the arm -which I justified as frustration. I now realise that violence takes many forms from slamming doors to reacting emotionally and feeling justified in doing so, Thank you SA Women Fight Back, and the extraordinary courageous and wounded women that I have come to know for highlighting the deep need...
